The House of Creed narrates a story that lived throughout the centuries. The brand began as a tailor shop that provided the English Court with custom-tailored clothing and leather gloves. James Creed created scented leather gloves to give King George III a place to rest his chin on and inhale the fine aroma of the gloves while riding his horse through London. King George III, inspired by the scented gloves, commissioned the House to create its first fragrance, Royal English Leather. The true innovation started in 1824 when Henry "the third generation of Creed" was born. He is still considered the most innovative perfumer in the house.
Later on, Creed expanded through Europe and the USA to reach celebrities and royalties. It was not until 1970 when the brand was made available to the public. This enabled Creed to grow faster and introduce enchanting creations throughout the years.
